Terms of service
These terms ("Terms") govern your use of the HVGadgets website and services operated by HV Gadgets Limited ("HVGadgets", "we", "us"). By using our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
Use of the website
You must use our website only for lawful purposes. You may not: use the site in any way that violates applicable laws; attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts; transmit malware or harmful code; scrape or harvest data without permission; or use the site to send spam or misleading communications. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.
Orders and contract
When you place an order, you make an offer to buy the listed products at the stated prices (in ZMW) and under the shipping option selected. We accept the offer when we confirm your order (e.g. by email). We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders (e.g. for pricing errors, stock, or suspected fraud). Prices and availability are subject to change until the order is confirmed.
Payment
Payment is due as selected at checkout (full payment by card or mobile money, or Layby where available). You must provide accurate payment details. Failure to pay (including Layby instalments) may result in cancellation or recovery action. Card and mobile money processing are subject to our payment providers' terms and applicable law.
Shipping, delivery, and risk
Delivery times and fees are as stated at checkout. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery (or when the goods are handed to the carrier for export, where applicable). We are not liable for delays or failure to deliver caused by events outside our reasonable control (e.g. customs, carrier issues, force majeure).
Returns and refunds
Our returns and refunds policy is set out on our Shipping & returns page. By placing an order you agree to that policy. Refunds will be made by the same method as payment where possible.
Warranty and liability
Product warranties are as described on our Warranty page and in product documentation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profit or data, except where such exclusion is not allowed. Our total liability for any claim arising from an order shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order.
Privacy and data
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy policy. You consent to the collection and use of your data as described there.
Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of Zambia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zambia. For questions, contact us via our contact page.
